Paradigm Engineering offers On-Site Rapid Prototyping (RP) services. Components are routinely delivered in as little as a few days, some within 24 hours. Our Rapid Prototyping Center includes two Stratasys FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) machines.

Product Design, 3D Solid Modeling, and Rapid Prototyping go hand in hand. With our in house design and Pro/E expertise, we assist clients from the very earliest conceptual stages of a product development program, all the way through to full production.

With the application of this technology we can quickly and accurately reproduce working prototypes or patterns from 3D geometry. FDM materials include ABS Plastic, High Impact ABS, FDA Approved Medical Grade ABS, or true Investment Casting Wax. ABS Plastic is also offered in various colors; white, black, blue, red, yellow, and green.

Often, multiple sets of prototype parts are needed for use while production tooling is being fabricated. For requirements of more than a single part or assembly, FDM or SLA master components are built from 3D geometry. These masters are then used to create silicone rubber or epoxy molds. Cast urethane, epoxy, and wax parts can be produced from these molds in quantities up to about 20-30 pieces depending on the part complexity.

Paradigm Engineering offers same day quotes on Rapid Prototyping in most instances. Build queue times average 3 to 5 days.
